AIDS patient costs Saudi Arabia about 333 Saudi riyals per day
Ministry of Health announces that it discovered about 1777 AIDS cases during the year 2013, including 542 Saudis,

The Ministry of Health has announced the discovery of 1777 cases of AIDS during 2013, including 542 Saudis, which means that the treatment cost was approximately 65.04 thousand riyals.
Patients are treated in specialized governmental centers distributed to all cities in the Kingdom, which has a population of about 30 million, including about 20 million citizens.
United Nations Development Program (UNDP) says that it has been reported about 10 thousand cases of AIDS in the kingdom since 1986; when the first AIDS case in Saudi Arabia discovery.
