Dubai health Authority announced the launch of
leading analysis platform in collaboration with both companies "SAS"
and "Dimensions Healthcare" where the new platform is working to
analyze massive amounts of data in order to detect the loss of health insurance
companies resulting from fraud, waste, and abuse operations and prevention
them..
The launch of this platform allows for Dubai health
Authority and health insurance companies in the UAE to obtain an advanced level
of claims data analysis in order to enhance the effectiveness of this sector
and restrict practices that lead to wastage.
The compulsory health insurance law in the UAE
has opened new doors for companies in this sector as well as the urgent need to
provide health insurance service within accessible prices to all social groups,
which reinforces the importance of a balanced and effective structure in the
health care sector provides prosperity of health service providers and
insurance companies together to provide better benefits and higher levels of
service to subscribers.
And the new platform operates to provide an
advanced Predictive analysis through hybrid detecting means allow to identify
the characteristics of fraud, waste, and abuse operations and reduce the

improving the health system in Dubai.. And this new technique allows for DHA to
track the issues that arise at the level of service providers which will help

order to cut costs.
For his part Amer Alsharaby General Director of
"SAS" in the Gulf region and emerging markets explained that using
the new hybrid technology, which was launched today allows to detect irregular
operations and predict illegal behaviors in the future as well as ensuring
compliance through a complex set of rules, which means skipping the Traditional

advanced analysis and revealing irregularities effectively.
