Chairman of the Health Committee in the Shura Council, Dr. Mohsen Al Hazmi confirmed that the Council is discussing the topic (Medical Insurance for every citizen) as soon as possible and that more than one competent authority participate, explaining that the results of this study will be presented to (His Majesty) to take the appropriate decision.
Dr. Mohsen Al Hazmi said, according to the newspaper "almadina" that the problem of application of this insurance is the lack of health services in all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to the few number of hospitals in the Kingdom especially that the most important requirements are that health services are available and integrated.

Some Medical specialist said that only 25% of the ministry of Health budget in Saudi Arabia will be enough if we use it properly.This will be made by converting the national and governmental hospitals to private hospitals.
