Dr/Mansour Al-Hawasy: Saudi Arabia continues to prevent the granting of Visas to countries affected by Ebola.

The ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia declared that it will continue to prevent the granting of visas to countries infected by Ebola virus and that not confined to the reasons for Hajj or Umrah only.

Dr/Mansour Al-Hawasy (Deputy Minister of Health) said that the prohibition will continue until the eradication of Ebola from all over the world.He pointed out that Saudi Arabia's efforts in the field of surveillance of persons who enter the country in order to continue to limit the disease and prevent all the citizens of the kindom from the killing Ebola disease.

The assistant of Saudi Minister of Health and Chairman of the Advisory Consultant Medical Council Dr/ Tariq Madani said that the minisry of health in Saudi Arabia did not record any Ebola cases during pilgrimage season.He added that the ministry will not hesitate if we found a case of Ebola in Saudi Arabia and the ministry will take the precautions to avoid that.

Here are some advice to prevent Ebola virus:

1-Always,wash your hands with soap and water and an antiseptic like Dettol.

2-Do not eat animals from unofficial sources as animals may be infected with Ebola virus.

3-Avoid to shake hands with strangers as Ebola transmitted by touching.

4-If you feel any symptoms of Ebola go the hospital as soon as possible.
