Dr/Raeed Al-Sadhan warned of tinkering of failed implants because the healthy teeth will be affected and that may cause infections and a lot of other problems in the mouth.
Dr Raed added that putting the implanted tooth in a false way or in inappropriate direction will affect other healthy teeth and other organs like nose so this may cause sinusitis and it may be more worse and the nerve of the lower lip would be cut.
Tinkering the wrong implanted teeth would cause an inflammation in the gum and other tissues near the dental implant so,the bones which support the implant will dissolve and crashed.
Dr/Raeed said all of the above advice in the conference of The Saudi Arabia Dental Association in a scientific report the 26th dental conference.
Dr/Sadhan advised that choosing the dentist who specialized in the field of implanting teeth is a necessary to do this dental implant.
Dental implants are done by install a metal from Titanium in the Jaw bone which in turn grow and docking with it allowing for dentist to install one tooth or a group of teeth fixed to each other instead of the missing teeth without affecting the healthy teeth.
Dr/Raed continued that the success rate of dental implants is depend on accurate diagnosis analysis of functional and aesthetic needs of each case and also careful planning of treatment giving realistic references for the expected treatment outcomes of teeth shape.
Dr/Sahdan added that there are a lot of new technologies in the field of dentistry such as:
1-possible to integrate CT images with scanning and optical imaging the three-dimensional of the mouth and teeth.
2-virtual simulation of the process Agriculture.
3-use computer programs to fit the implanted tooth in the right place.
